Lead times and repeat orders

Production takes 7-12 business days for embroidery and 5-10 for screen printing, plus shipping — and a re-order only matches if the master file survives.

The production windows are well known: commonly 7-12 business days for embroidery and 5-10 for screen printing. Domestic shipping adds 2-5 days on top, and none of these windows include the time spent approving artwork or samples.

Peak seasons add 5-10 days across the whole sequence. The only reliable plan is counted backwards from the date the kit is needed, with the buffer added before the order is placed, not after it stalls.

Minimums tie into scheduling as well as cost: 12-24 pieces for embroidery and 24-50 for screen printing. An order below the minimum does not just cost more per piece — it often waits longer, because it cannot fill a production slot efficiently.

The repeat order is where most teams lose what they paid for. Keeping the digitised embroidery file or vector master, together with the colour reference and the supplier's code, is what makes a re-order in six months match the first run.

Without that file, artwork is re-digitised and ink is re-mixed from memory, and two batches of the same design drift apart visibly. The master file belongs with the specification from Specifying the order, and its cost context is on What decoration actually costs.
